The Western Woodlot Services Co-op is excited to be hosting a conference on the topic of Wildfire Prevention and Mitigation on Private Woodlots in Western Nova Scotia, thanks to a grant from Wawanesa’s Community Wildfire Prevention Program.

The conference aims to bring together experts from industry, government, and academia to help educate and inform woodlot owners, land stewards, and the public on the risks of wildfire and strategies for prevention and mitigation in relation to woodlot management.
